Wash & Sanitize Enema Equipment

Sanitizing enema equipment today is so very much more important than it was 30 years ago. With the types of autoimmune diseases such as HIV and AIDS, herpes, chlamydia  it is of great importance that your enema equipment is sanitized after each use.  It would even be better if each person had their own personal enema equipment. but if it is impossible for each person have their own personal enema equipment then sanitizing what you use is of the utmost importance. Here are some tips to help you complete that task.

Wash enema bag, Tubing & Nozzle or Rectal/Colon Tube

  1. Wash with a good Antibacterial soap (i.e. Nutribiotic)  Bag / hose and nozzle.
Soak in a 10% solution of unscented laundry bleach  and water for 15 minutes after washing this is an excellent way to sanitized your enema equipment.

  2. Always remember to thoroughly rinse the Bag / hose & nozzle with plain water to ensure there is no bleach residue left in or on them.
  3. After thoroughly rinsing the enema equipment allow to air dry. Never put away wet equipment this could lead to mold growth.

  4. Using a solution of baking soda and water for the final rinse of the enema bag and tubing will retard possible mold growth. After the bag and tubing dry the baking soda leaves a slight dry alkaline film on the bag and tubing which retards mold growth.
{Mixture} Mix 4 tbsp. of baking soda with one quart of water, Slosh around inside bag making sure all surfaces inside are covered, then drain bag through the tubing allowed to air dry.

Chlamydia:  is a common sexually transmitted disease (STD) caused by the bacterium, Chlamydia trachomatis, which can damage a woman's reproductive organs. Even though symptoms of chlamydia are usually mild or absent, serious complications that cause irreversible damage, including infertility, can occur "silently" before a woman ever recognizes a problem. Chlamydia also can cause discharge from the penis of an infected man.
